I moved to Spadina Ave (Downtown Toronto)
Between Bloor St. W & Harbord Street
I want to know:
1 - The cheapest places to shop (A to Z) and household goods and so on. (with the best meat halal and Arab markets)
* The best fitness studio with pool open ()
*) The nearest mosque (Friday prayer
* The best ethnic restaurants in the area Halal
* The closest (cheap, but well-Cinema) is not in your face Dundas AMC

I believe that the mosque of Medina Masjid could be companies in Danforth, and have a halal restaurant in the region. It is a pizza restaurant, and there is also a restaurant with a culinary Mecca, where Indians, Pakistanis (next to the mosque.) There are some Islamic transactions, fruit, vegetables and food "halal" in this domain. Not sure about movies or gyms though.
The mosque is under construction, but my father told me there was not a temporary mosque in the region, but who knows where. You may want to call and find out.
